On being a girl

1. You are a born connoisseur of some of the the finest experiences of life: a foot massage, a facial, a face-pack, cosmetics, shopping, a haircut ... Can the mental peace and contentment which these offer be compared to the more mundane things of our existence? And more than that, can their depth really be explained to the male?

2. When you want to do slightly off-beat things: like a phd in the pure sciences, you encounter these oft-quoted lines: Minorities and women are encouraged to apply.

3. Gals and guys are equal, but we definitely get to pick where we eat dinner and which movie we watch. It's the case of being more equal than the other party.

4. We can take a lot of bullshit, but we get to lose our temper and throw tantrums. I think a guy is slightly wary when dealing with a girl: I mean it must be kind of alarming when she turns on the tear tap.

5. You can be cheeky and get away with it quite a few times. :)
