Very Random!

This is my third attempt at writing in as many weeks. There are so many things I've to write on. The very weight of the issues, and the consideration and the words they need stop me.
So I only pick up the courage to make a note of this one observation: that every once in a while, we should make an attempt to step back and look at who we used to be. Really look at ourselves, our attitudes, at what we thought we wanted and the choices we made. It's enlightening: it's like distancing ourselves from what we were. And in this process we realise that that which we are now isn't a tight noose either. It's going to become a part of our old self soon enough. The slow progression of thoughts, of change becomes so clearly visible. And the confusion of the current moment reduces. Its power to hold you, to trap you seems like something you can challenge. And finally, we smile at ourselves. Something we couldn't have done in the angst of the moment.

Very true..:)...
i remember something gibran says though its not exactly related but still somehow reminded me of it...
'And you would accept the seasons of your heart, even as you have always accepted the seasons that pass over your fields. And you would watch with serenity through the winters of your grief.'
To look back, to observe the unfolding, the change sometimes can fill one with a sense of wonder at how strange and quirky personal journeys are..and (for me atleast) a moment of belief in which i feel that perhaps i can let life happen to me a little more (rather than try to control it as much) because it has its own wisdom even when i am not in touch with mine :)
