I bribe the Silence,
With thoughts and words,
And understanding chords,
which resonate with me.
I fool the Silence,
With prosaic calculations,
And mundane worries,
which wind around me.
I flee from the Silence,
With the casual smile,
And the easy laughter,
Which mocks me.
I silence the Silence,
With my pale excuses.
And then, She extracts
my share of unshed tears.
